The hotel is situated in a great quiet area of the new city part of Edinburgh, making it a peaceful stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, although there were some minor issues like the cold running water in the shower and a few maintenance issues. The service was friendly with a minor hiccup in housekeeping. The dining offered a nice variety of choices with some cleanliness concerns. The location is convenient, being a short walk from Princes Street and close to tourist attractions and the train station.
The hotel is situated in a nice, quiet area of the 'new city' part of Edinburgh, making it easy to visit all main attractions. The room, though spacious and comfortable, was a bit challenging to access with steep stairs. The dining experience was satisfactory with a good variety of options. A welcoming neighborhood close to boutiques added to the charm, with convenient access to important areas around the city.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The location was fantastic, just minutes from the castle and Royal Mile, but some issues with the room dampened the experience. The dining was good, and the service was decent, enhancing the overall stay.
